Marzamemi

GASTRONOMY

BEACHES

All the beaches of this territory are famous for their beauty: thin clear sand and crystalline sea, defined by the more as “Caribbean”. Also the atmosphere you breathe is Caribbean: almost all the bathing stations are also music and fun. But the seaside is also child-friendly with games, baby club and menu for the children. Everything is organise to make amazing your holiday.

Heading to south you will meet Vendicari Reserve characterised by pink flamingos, that stop here during their migration. In spring and in autumn, when weather is mild, spend part of your day observing these majestic animals.

In the natural reserve, along a footpath of about 1 km, there is also the Calamosche bay, winner of “most beautiful beach in Italy” by Guida Blu of Legambiente in 2005.

Since it is difficult to reach it, the beach is nevere too crowded. Admire the wonderful view while sunbathing. The beach is between two cliffs, thanks to them the sea is really quiet.
