The Ex Convitto Ragusa of Noto houses the exhibition “Marc Chagall, Ottavio Missoni. Sogno e colore (Dream and color)” cured by Luca Missoni
A dialogue between the works of the two artists of colors which lived in the first half of the 20th century.
After the first stop in Lombardy, the exhibition reaches Noto where it will fascinate the visitors with the big oil “Les Amoureux sur fond jaune” by Marc Chagall, 100 etchings from the Bible cycle and the series of Litographie I. And also the cromatic studies realised by Missoni starting from first years of Seventies, its textile works and the patchwors tapestries, which include also the biggest one created by the artist.
Noto with its dream strength is the perfect place where to houses the dream of the two artists, among colors, fables and magic. The evocative atmosphere will be increased by the complementary installations, such as the glowing projections, a giant jar decorated with a colored mosaic and a big colorful ball of thread placed in the city centre.
Exhibition cured by Luca Missoni with the artistic direction by Sara Pallavicini and Giovanni Lettini.
